Who we are looking for

In this role you will ensure that Melbye Group position us as a sustainable market leader within our core markets and segments, sales channels and strategic partnerships and more.
Together with the team and partners you will make sure we build and enhance the brand’s reputation and that our messaging resonates with our target audience and reflects our commitment to sustainability. You will strengthen partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including industry associations, non-governmental and other organizations that prioritize sustainability and solutions, to enhance our brand credibility and reach. You and your team will make sure we are highlighting benefits of our solutions and differentiating them from traditional offerings. Create compelling value propositions that speak to both environmental and economic advantages.
You will have focus understanding and enhancing the customer journey and make sure to implement strategies to improve customer engagement and build long-term relationships, ensuring satisfaction with our solutions. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment between communication initiatives and sales objectives and provide the business units with the necessary tools, resources, and training to effectively offer our Melbye solutions and sharpening our value propositions.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing a Communication and Group positioning strategy as well as align necessary actions short and long term to increase customer sales success together with business areas/ group functions. Responsible for developing and implementing a positioning and marcom-strategy that aligns with our group’s vision of providing sustainable solutions, positioning us as a leader in the industries we are in
- You will be responsible for in-depth market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, allowing for informed decision-making and innovative solutions
- Overall responsibility for the company's technology and AI strategy and ensure that technology effectively supports the group's business goals.
- Drive digital transformation by identifying and implementing new technologies that can improve efficiency, innovation and competitiveness, so that all digital platforms support the company's internal and external needs
- Introducing and implementing new working methods and technologies to streamline business processes within the organization. Create platforms, dashboards and initiatives that promote collaboration, openness and innovation across departments where new technology plays a role
- Ensure that technology is integrated seamlessly with the group's communication and culture work. Solid contribution driving change management and ensure that the organization adapts quickly and effectively to new challenges and market opportunities and threats
- Setting and driving goals in alignment with Melbye Group’s overall strategy. Set specific KPIs to measure the effectiveness of communication campaigns and initiatives. Continuously analyze performance data to refine strategies and optimize return on investment
- Working closely with business leaders, managers, employees, and partners to optimize each of current responsibility areas
- Managing and mentoring co-workers to ensure professional growth and team development as well as collaboration with external and internal partners
- Reporting directly to the Group CEO and being an active member of the Group management team
Other areas of responsibility
This role is new, and we are currently putting together a strong group management team. We are considering whether all of customer service, IT purchase of service, People & Culture and Group Strategy will be part of this future role, and this will be sorted out the months to come. Please highlight if you have competence and experience within these areas or others.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Commercial, Communication, Technology and/or Business Administration related education or proven
background in related field - At least 4–7 years of relevant experience
- Candidates must demonstrate the ability to drive diversity, sustainability, technology, communication, and development within their teams and group responsibilities
- Execution and Development abilities on behalf of responsibility area/Group responsibilities across and within own team
- Able to renew function to meet today/future needs
- Able to be self-going/driving in finding “the new way” outside and within own organization, on behalf of group responsibility and also to support other parts/leaders within Melbye Group
- Ability to maintain timelines and address risks of falling behind schedule
- Self-motivated in meeting targets, identifying actions, and mitigating deviations
- Team-oriented and transparent, with a focus on both people and business
- Structured, analytical, and results driven. Solid in both operational and strategic leadership as well as implementation across units
- Curious with a willingness to learn and share
- Strong business acumen and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Digital competence, with a keen interest in new technologies and AI
- Excellent communication skills in a Scandinavian language (Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish) and English.
