Are you our new Group Development Project Manager?
Melbye Group is looking to strengthen our Group with performance and business and fact driven, execution oriented, strategical Group Development Project Managers.
These roles are critical in driving the company’s profitability, group development into tomorrow, focusing on expanding the business, market position in core markets and operational scalability. In addition, these roles will work closely with the top management team, group important functions and leading our most important Group projects across Nordics, UK and where we have global operations.

We are looking for you who have a background from analytical and strategic Group related work internationally and a career background from one of the leading management consulting firms in Europe. You will have office space at one of our locations in the Nordics (Norway, Finland, Sweden).

Your areas of responsibilities will be
- High degree of execution of group strategic agenda and ambitions and action plans in close cooperation with Group CEO, top management, group function, partners, suppliers and customers. Focus could be within competitor landscape, growth and market initiatives or internal strategic deficiency/improvement agenda.
- Project Manager responsibility for one or more of our most important group projects
- Provide ready decision material for group specific topics, both analytical, project based and strategic recommendations to the CEO, senior management and Board of Directors Board committee
- Business development and potential mergers and acquisitions – Valuation and due diligence of identified candidates, help merging companies into our group, identify candidates to grow within core development areas in prioritized markets
- Throughout your projects and focus areas, increase our strategic and operational competitiveness in the value chain - including sales, delivery, after-sales, strategic development of position and follow-up of relationships
- Proactive in setting and driving development also beyond own project responsibilities
Your qualifications:
- Highly professional, hard-working and result oriented
- Solution-focused, sees opportunities where others see challenges. Relationship builder with “DOer” mentality
- Ability to initiate and lead cross-company initiatives, maintain timelines, risks and tasks with strengths to address actions to ensure progress according to plan
- Excellent communication skills in Norwegian/Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
- Passionate about environmental issues and active user/operator of modern technology and innovation
- Candidates must demonstrate a solid ability to drive analytical and business driven agenda, supporting development within areas as sustainability, technology, communication and profitability, efficiency and group development across
- Self-going and confident to make top management and board committee ready status and decision material
- Curious, humble with a willingness to learn and share. Self-motivated in finding "the new way", as well as good influence on others
